SAM RAD CLASSIC

Sam spent his life bringing people together, a round of golf with his buddies on his days off, BBQ's at the house, trips to his family cabin, the most epic Halloween parties.  He wanted nothing more than to spend time with his friends and family.  He lived his life with a more-the-merrier attitude and always welcomed friends, new and old, with open arms.

As a group of friends, we gathered to remember Sam the day he passed, and again a year later, and all the days we have been together in between.  We want to gather every year, not just be for us, but to raise money for the Foundation we have established in his name.  Our goal with this event is to bring everyone together, just as Sam did, for an amazing party benefiting something that is bigger than all of us.

In 2022, The Sam Rad Fund partnered with the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation to expand our community outreach. The proceeds from the Sam Rad Classic are donated to the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation and the LPFF.

The CHP 11-99 Foundation supports the children and families of the California Highway Patrol in times of need.  For more information view their website.
